The leaders of Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil have given up leaving the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban). The possibility was raised last week, after the organization joined the manifesto led by the Federation of Industries of São Paulo (Fiesp). The information comes from the newspaper O Globo. According to the publication, the decision came after the publication of a press release from Febraban announcing the disengagement of the movement coordinated by the Fiesp, which postponed the publication of the text without consulting other institutions. The directors of public banks understood that leaving at that time would be an unnecessary constraint.
