The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and the President of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Minister Luiz Fux, met on Tuesday (24) to discuss the payment of the precatório. In a statement, the Supreme said that Fux “suggested that progress on constitutional amendment (PEC) in Congress be awaited before the STF participates in mediation or conciliation.” The information was published by Poder360.
Court decisions are debts resulting from court decisions which are no longer subject to appeal. “Alone [falamos] precatory, what are the possibilities of building beyond legislative alternatives, a possibility of mediation to put an end to these versions of economic instability of all times, which are very bad for Brazil ”, Lira told journalists in arriving at the House.
