The dollar exchange rate today (07/23) is operating down 0.44%, at 9:10 am, trading at R $ 5.19. On Thursday (22), it closed up 0.43%, at R $ 5.21. In July, the advance reached 4.82% and, in 2021, the increase was 0.48%.
The market is following data from the Inflation Snapshot released this Friday (23), which posted an increase of 0.72% in July, the highest of the month since 2004. Another point on the radar is ministerial reform announced by President Jair Bolsonaro. Among the changes is the re-creation of the Ministry of Labor, which will be headed by Onyx Lorenzoni, previously linked to Paulo Guedes’ Ministry of Economy.
