The federal government has included 18 active Investment Partnership Programs (IPPs). The new projects are expected to result in investments of R $ 31 billion. This Thursday (25), the 17th meeting of the Council of the Partnership Program for Investment (CPPI) was held, with the participation of President Jair Bolsonaro and the coordination of the Minister of the Economy, Paulo Guedes.

Although it was included in the list of privatizations in 2019, the Mint was withdrawn from the National Privatization Program (PND). The withdrawal was made due to the loss of validity of interim measure (PM) 902/2019.

Among the new assets are the port of São Sebastião (SP) included in the PND; eight port leases: Santos (SP), Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Salvador (BA), Ilhéus (BA), Porto Alegre, Mucuripe (CE) and Itaqui (MA); the new call for tenders for the BR-060/153/262 / DF / GO / MG motorway concession; a 3,000 km block of highways from Santa Catarina.

In a statement, the government informed that 46 projects had been auctioned in 2021, with investments of more than 55.4 billion reais. Another 57 projects could be auctioned by the end of the year, with an estimated investment of 307 billion reais. With the new additions, the PPI portfolio now has 446 projects.
