Senator Confúcio Moura (MDB-RO) presented this Wednesday (1st) a report in favor of the approval of provisional measure 1.045, which originally provided only for the renewal of the emergency program to reduce the time spent work and wages in the private sector. The new version of the text also provides for the creation of other employment programs. The vote on the mini-labor reform is due to take place this Thursday. The information was published by Estadão.
The basic text of the proposal had already been approved by the Chamber. Among the provisions inserted by the deputies in the MP, modifications were foreseen in the Consolidation of labor laws (CLT). In the Senate, the rapporteur said he was excluding any provisions included by the House that would amend the CLT.
In the opinion, Confucius agreed to the creation of three new employment programs: the Priore, to exempt the hiring of young people aged 18 to 29 and those over 55; Requip, which grants qualification scholarships to young people or people who have been removed from the labor market for a long time; and social volunteering, to facilitate the hiring of young people and people over 50 by town halls.
